Apple’s Safari And WordPress To Wed

I’ve mentioned at the old blog how Apple’s Safari browser didn’t play nice with WordPress.

WordPress and Safari: Will the Fighting Ever End? says it soon will.

Yeah, baby. That also means, in June, being able to blog from an iPhone!

    Have you tried MarsEdit? So much nicer than the built-in WordPress editor. Supports categories and tags as well. If the author is smart, he’ll be working on the iPhone version right about now.

    D’oh. Just realized your original issue was with Safari *Windows*. Nevermind on MarsEdit. When I was doing more windows stuff, Blogjet seemed to work pretty well. Ecto is cross-platform but I’ve always had problems with it, especially with how it handles line breaks.

    Yeah, I’m on Windows for a while yet. But for blog by phone, I want iPhone, which is why I was happy to hear of *real* developments going on at WP HQ. I’d asked several months ago but didn’t get a convincing or enthusiastic reply. Things should speed up with the beta iSDK out now.
