Analyst: Apple appears ‘recession proof’
As you all know, I was at Apple Store Soho yesterday.
The frickin place was packed.
And it wasn’t just freeloaders like me sopping up some free WiFi.
The cashier had at least a line of twenty people. There were people on the floor buying iPhones and iPods.
Upstairs, 90% of the seats in the iTheater were taken by people getting a software tutorial (I think it was mail?).
The Genius Bar was filled in. And lots of people were browsing the software and accessory shelves.
I don’t want to jinx Apple, but things looked just swell yesterday.
