Palm + Celio Redfly = Mystery Device?
Palm Infocenter reports on a Palm mystery device.
Speculation in various quarters is that this is Foleo II.
I don’t think so.
For Palm to even have that in alpha test form (never mind the beta this is announced to be), they would have to be waaaaay ahead of schedule with their code-named Nova Linux-based Palm OS.
What I think is more likely is that Celio has gotten the Redfly to work with Palm’s Windows Mobile-powered phones.

Ed Colligan is not below slapping a Palm label on the Redfly.
However, if Palm can sell it for just $250 or below, they could have something there.
And what could really save Ed’s ass, is if Celio has gotten the Redfly to work with the Palm OS-based Centro.

A bundle of Centro + Redfly for, say, $200 or so, could be big.
