Robot Toy? Now THIS Is A Robot Toy!

Judie Lipsett over at Gear Diary has a review of the robot pet, Pleo.

That set me off on a nostalgic binge and I finally remembered the name of one of the best toys of the 1960s.

Big Loo — wikipedia entry.

Big Loo (big bathroom?) is amazing!

And why is it that none of us thought to save these fabulous toys from our youths? :-(

It was pre-feminist feminist terrorism. Secret agents sent to kill the dreams of little boys. They would steal our toys and throw them away. These agents were called Mothers!

Big Loo and the Great GarLoo were both named to honor the great Louis Marx. The man who had so many great toy ideas. Iam lucky enough to have both of these toys.
    Whopeee! ;-)

I had a Big Loo! I LOVED all the gadgets attached to him. My Mom used to look at him and just laugh at his “cheesy grin”
