Microsoft Shuns Moon. Wants Universe.

All of you probably thought I was daft when I mentioned Microsoft Moon in the old blog.

Well, Microsoft has gone cheap.

Instead of building and deploying mini-rovers on the Moon for us to play with, they’ve apparently decided to grab some of the free schwag available from the Hubble telescope.

Rumors are this will culminate in software that made Scoble Boy weep: Microsoft Telescope.

(Yes, I know that and other sites are calling it Worldwide Telescope. Has Microsoft failed to slap its name first on any product? Zune doesn’t count … and it hasn’t.)
