Truckers Strike 2008: A Success?

tslogo.gif

This was left in a Comment here, but I thought it deserved more visibility:

I interviewed Dan Little, the man generally credited with launching the trucker shutdown yesterday, and he believes the effort was 100 percent successful. The near future, as far as the trucking industry and its impact on this country, should be interesting.

Truck Shutdown Deemed ‘100 percent successful’

Is that it then? I expected a momentum to build and for the nation to get to the point where shelves would begin to empty due to lack of replenishment shipments.

If that is it, then a suggestion: Sock away funds for the time when an action such as this becomes necessary once again. Try to stick it out to the point where shelves do begin to empty.

God bless the American trucker!
