Reference: Anime Tropes

I’ll continue to harp on this subject because of the vast potential that was lost. It irks me.

Gerry Anderson’s New Captain Scarlet required anime thinking.

Gerry, the next time you get a chance to play with CG, keep the examples of grammar used here in mind:


Note: No BGM means “no background music.” The video is entirely silent. I was glad to find this because it makes people concentrate on the visuals. There’s lots of CG used here, disguised as cel animation.

If someone had cottoned to that early in pre-production, New Scarlet would be doing season four or five right now. And Gerry would be busy with an entirely new series too.
