That’s Not Supposed To Happen

Suddenly everything went sick with my desktop.

Of course, when this happens and you’re running a Microsoft OS, it takes hours to diagnose the simplest frikkin thing. (And it did turn out to be simple!)

But it’s a good thing I wasn’t running Linux. I’d be offline until 2009, buried under RTFM cudgels from the so-called 1337z.
