Ton Of New MSI Wind Photos!
Update: Something went awry with my links to Mobile01’s photos. I suspect they might have prevented direct linking. So, I’m cloning their two photos. This is not something I like to do.
At this Mobile01 thread. Look for these links:
and click on each one to reveal the photo.
Check out this red one! [Link died, so here’s the photo]
And further proof the keyboard is larger than an EeePC! [Link died, so here’s the photo]

The picture with the hands is great. Knowing nothing else, I’d guess you’re right about the keyboard size.
However, I’d like some perspective on those hands, which I know I won’t get. I really don’t know how big those hands are.
If you’ll remember, a lot of the early press shots of the Eee Pc included some very tiny hands, to make the keyboard look more like a full sized one.
Assuming these hands are of an average sized women, with average sized hands, I’d say this is a very good sign for the Wind. If the keyboard is right, I’d get one, for sure.

Those hands look to be the same size as mine (shut up; I can still hit with them!).
Really, when I place my hands over the EeePC keyboard, there’s no room like that!
Plus, this is bigger than the hp Mini Note in all dimensions. That keyboard simply cannot be EeePC sized.

I agree Mike. I’m just going with the only information we have. Everything we’re doing here is just speculation until we get our hands on one.
This debate will be over soon enough. I’m with everyone else, in hoping that this thing has a great keyboard.

When I stop to think about it, it’s pretty sad how we obsess over things like this.
That’s why I hardly ever stop to think about it.
That way lies madness!

Can’t disagree with that one.
This will interest you, Mike. Cnet UK has a hands-on with the Wind. They say the keyboard is better than the Eee, not as good as the 2133. I think this is, pretty much, where we expected it to be.

This thing is starting to look pretty awesome.
Considering I just bought my Mini-Note about a month ago, I’ll have a hard time coming up with an excuse to purchase a Wind. However, the more I hear, the more I like. It sounds like MSI may have a hit on their hands here.
