The Search For Sense

June 11, 2008

This is the Fall from Grace.

Our Quantum Mind devolved into a Newtonian Mind.

We impose Order.

Order is a fiction.

It does not exist outside of our desire.

Order is Sin.

Order is Blasphemy.

Order is Evil.

Order is Death.

Entropy is Life.

Infinity is Life.

Blog Notes: Go Play With Toy #1

June 11, 2008

I’m dealing with a backlog I really want to get out of the way.

So I’m curtailing the blog.

I’m putting up two toys for you lot to play with.

Before that: Have you gone and voted for Mark Billingham yet? Go do so!

I’m not putting the toys here because embedding Veoh video requires too damned much work.

Vodpod puts the thing in a published post, which means people coming to the blog see a post that I’m actually editing to put in the text I want it to have. This is a pain in the ass.

So, the Veoh videos you can go play with will appear over at the Blogger backup blog.

Here’s the first one: Alternative 3.

Unworthy Of A Red Headline

June 11, 2008

WTF?

A red headline for that?

Among other things:

1) They’re not about to disassemble it and move it to their country

2) They still have to pay real estate taxes

3) They still have to employ people locally

4) Those local people will pay taxes (and taxes and taxes and …)

5) It’s unlikely to be a terrorist target now (oh behave!)

There was a big deal in the 1980s when Japanese bought a building in Rockefeller Center.

The world didn’t end then.

It won’t end now.

Drudge is pandering here.

The article is in the NY Post: CHRYSLER BUILDING ON THE BLOCK

Yawn.
