Blog Notes: XP Needs A Beating!

The seriousness of this is now heightened.

I can’t play any video on the PC itself in vlc larger than 240×320! If I do, frames are dropped like crazy!

This happened before when I had a Windows 98 system. It got slower and slower and at one point, video playback became absolute shit.

Now it’s happening with XP!

I don’t watch video often but, goddammit, when I do I expect it to be flawless!

No blogging til I’ve gotten this all sorted out.

Soon I’ll be ripping out all those dammed anonymous Windows Updates those smiley eejits snuck in after I evicted SP3!
