I don’t have an Ipod, but do have an Iphone. I installed Stanza on it last week and got the Time Machine for free.
The only problem I can see about using the Iphone to read a book is the short battery life. I’m not sure how long the Iphone battery will last for reading. Haven’t tested it yet.

It’s the backlight that’s the killer. When I read The Time Machine (! quel coincidence!) on that &^%$ing Nokia 770, it ate up the battery too. I didn’t like using WiFi time for reading.
